The City of Cathedral City is requesting community feedback on odors in the area. We track and measure odors to better understand and minimize their impact. The information you provide, including the date, time, location, and type of odor, will help us identify the most likely path and source of specific odors. Once your report is submitted, the data will be reviewed by City staff and used to run a trajectory analysis. This report will combine your location with local weather conditions, wind direction and speed, and other environmental factors to determine the potential odor source. The results of these community odor complaints will be shared with the Cathedral City Odor Task Force to guide discussions about potential odor sources and reduction strategies. This information will also assist in our continuous efforts to minimize odors from local facilities and operations. If you would like to receive a copy of the trajectory report, please indicate your request on the form. We will send the report to you in the following days.
